Meet Thyme's new family...George & Linda Kohut

Today was a tough one for us.......bitter/sweet for sure. We met with this wonderful family at Wendy's in Montoursville to see if Thyme would choose them and love them as much as they loved her just from her photos and stories.
Thyme looked them over pretty good, watched every car and dog in the area and stood her ground at our feet as we talked. Once I brought out the bag of toys and goodies that Thyme has chosen to take with her, she seemed to perk up. It was looking good to her now. George picked her up so I could get their photo and Thyme gave him lots of kisses. She reached over and gave one to Linda, too. As you can see by the photos above, George is holding his two girls with loving arms wrapped around them both. We are sure this is Thyme's forever home. Cocoa, a chocolate 8 year old male is waiting at home for his sister's arrival. Stay tuned for future photos and stories of them both. I'll be honest and say my trip home was a little shaky and full of flowing tears. This was an act of extreme love to find a special home for Thyme. I thank the Kohuts for wanting her and to all those who also wanted her but spoke up too late. I know this little girl will be loved beyond my imagination. The cocker angels have won again.

Hi Mary,
I know how hard this is for you, but it looks like Tyme has found a place of her own. She is a special girl and she deserves to have a chance to leave the pack behind and find her own one on one family and brother[?]!!!!! It looks like a good match!

I have been watching all day to see if Thyme chose her family. When I saw the picture of Thyme with her new mommy and daddy it just looked so right. Bittersweet and tons of tears from us all for her but what a wonderful home for her to go to now.

Hi Mary - I'm sure it was a hard day for you and Philip, but it looks like your girl Thyme has indeed found a wonderful forever home. She is doubly blessed to have had you and now this new home!
