Emme shares the couch with sister Ellie

Emme is having a wonderful summer. Her Sissy (Denise) chases her with a squirt gun and she loves it. Ellie shares the outdoor couch with her. Momma Eileen is having troubles getting this girl to come in and go to bed at night. Emme is growing nicely and is looking like her International Champion grandma. We can't wait to see this rose bud open. But take your time, Emme. You need to be a puppy for a much longer time.

Need color in your day? Here's some of our Poppies.

No sun again today, so I wanted to share another beautiful sight from our gardens. These poppies were blooming two days ago and looks so brilliant in the sunlight. The peonies are beginning to open and the fragrance is wonderful.

Dutchman's Pipe......have you seen this vine?

The Dutchman's pipe is a vine that doesn't always produce a flower. This year we are blessed with two so far. The first picture is an immature bud that is forming into the pipe. The last three are a mature pipe with a star shaped flower on the end. In years past, as the pipe grows, it has turned white. We are waiting to see what will happen this year. With all the rain we've had, we are having more again today, our flowers have been exceptional, then they are beaten down by the next storm. Big sigh.

Wesson's Bro Berkeley sends a message.....

Hi Wesson, this is your big brother Berkeley. Thanks you for saying "Hi" to me in the blog. I can't wait to meet you in a month. I am so looking forward to playing with you, teaching you how to be a good boy and sharing my toys with you. We have a big yard here and I know you will love to run and fetch sticks with me. Mom and Dad can't wait you have you home either....they tell me that all the time. So you grow big, healthy and strong over the next month, and I will be ready to share my home, toys and Mom and Dad with you in July. Love Berk
PS...the first picture is of me when I was a little puppy. Don't we look alike!!

Sylvester has a new name.........

After a lot of thought about it, my daddy Jim has decided to call me Wesson. I love it! Now all of us in Gigi/Weylin's litter have our own names. Tomorrow is our four week photo shoot. Check us out in the late afternoon. Dove's puppies will also have their one week photo shoot. Didn't they just arrive here? Time sure does fly. Wesson PS...Hi Berk!

I'm back online..........

Howard and Cheryl Ems of High Tech Computer, Little Marsh, PA.........worked miracles and got me up and running once again. Flash.......Microsoft sent an automatic update for Internet Explorer that wiped out my version #8. Updates were then assigned to version #7 and I can once again use my IE to get Earthlink....which I must use as my AOL cannot be used here with Verison's messed up wires. They installed DSL cables on our road, but won't allow me to hook up, yet. Their improvements made my dial up system slow and quick to disconnect or make errors in sending and receiving mail. Very frustrating. The good news is that there are no problems in my soft or hardware. Mircrosoft cost me a repair bill and Verison costs me constant stress. Thanks for keeping up with the latest happenings here at SBG. Puppies are all great, growing and wonderful. Sunny's puppies have had adoption requests, but I won't ship or sell to breeders. We are waiting for that perfect home as always. They are too precious to "get rid of" as so many people ask. this litter is exceptional in color and tan points. That's why we kept Charlie for our breeding program. Have a great day! Mary (PS....Howard refuses to have his picture taken...thus the back of his head! Now really, Howard!)

Shea celebrated his 1st birthday, too 6/9/09

Here's Daisy & Weylin's boy Shea on his first birthday. He looks just like his Pop....only color is black & tan instead of cream. He's a good boy and a lot of fun. He's looking for a brother or sister to join the family next spring.
