Sienna's update this evening......
Hi Mary - I just want to say thank you to all the cocker lovers for all your prayers and kind words - they've been keeping us going. The vet that called today said "Sienna was eating but wobbly on the hind legs when they try to get her walking. So they have suggested for the good of all, to keep her there for a week of therapy and then teach me to do it at home. So with heavy heart, we have decided to let her stay the week. I've done nothing today but pray we are making the right choice. Love Doris

Dear Sienna, Lois and family,
We are Finn's (Sienna's brother) family. We are following Sienna's situation closely with all our love and prayers. We had a cocker years ago that had the same problem. She had the surgery and lived a full (13 years)life. At first we were unsure but each day we took heart in her little "victories". They are so worth it. Please know we are thinking of all of you!
Love,
Finn, Larry and Trish
Lois,
As Sophie's mom,(Bailey is one of CC's 2009 puppies and Sophie is her adopted sister) we went thru the same thing with her back surgery. Little victories and the motto that sometimes life is "15 minutes at a time" got us through her recuperation. It has been four years and she is doing well. She chases her cocker sisters around and rules the roost here. Watch Sienna's tail wag and see her becoming stronger and stronger every day. She has all the love and prayers of the SBG Cocker family with her and your family,
Cathy and Bill and our cocker girls Sophie, Phoebe, Bella and Bailey
