Is the puppy box getting smaller or are they getting bigger? Bet they are wondering what is happening. Only half the box is shown. The other half is where they conduct their personal business. It's too cold and icy for them to go out at this tender age, but next week we will begin the training process. These smart little puppies keep their bedding nice and dry. That corn pillow has been used by many litters. They all love it, drag it around and sleep on/under it like it was their Mom. Hope it never wears out.

Charlie, Finn's brother, reporting in!
Hello, we loved hearing about Finn and wanted you to see my picture with my best buddy, Berkeley who is a Springer Spaniel. This is our official Christmas picture. The second one is of my Mommy Eileen who loves me to pieces. I have a wonderful life playing with my buddy and family. I hope every one had as good a birthday as I did.
Love........Charlie
Finn's 1st birthday
January 28th was my first birthday. Here I am with all the toys I bought with Grandma Rose's birthday money. I also got a new haircut since my show cut allowed huge snow balls to come inside the house with me. Did you know they make a mess on the floor? Tennis balls don't. So off came the fur and now everyone is happy again. I'm going to watch this blog to see pictures of my sister and brothers. I hear that we will have a new litter of siblings the end of March. Wonder if they will have as handsome a boy as me! tee hee
Love to all........Finn
PS........By the way, I'm a working boy, a COP......cocker on patrol!

Pansy/Weylin's Babe is checking in.
Hi Everyone. I had a birthday on January 1st and am a big girl now. I no longer need my crate and can be trusted in the house all by myself. I thought you'd like to see pictures of me with nephew Neil while I was still using the crate. He loved being in there with me. We had a grand time. I hear Mommy will be having a new litter around March 4th and I'm eager to see how they will be colored. I'll send pictures soon of me and my baby human sister, Ruby. I love her and watch over her all the time. Hugs to all.

Iris's daughter, Breezy............
We are so saddened to learn that one of our puppies we called Buttercup and was named Breezy by her loving family, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on December 15, 2008. Breezy was nine years old and is sorely missed by her family. Her pictures are the very image of her mother, our Iris. We are sending our love and condolenses to the Hoy family.

Yippie, more snow!
Can you believe it! All this snow falling day after day. Mom said she's watching for a sleigh pulled by horses with bells filled with fur covered people and revolutionaries right behind. This is old time Russia, isn't it? We love it and play outside as long as we're allowed. Then a good nap by the fireplace and we're good to go out again. Why can't we have hot chocolate, too?

SusieQ's new haircut!
Hi Everyone...Guess what - SHE left me somewhere I had been before but only for a shampoo. Today, was very different - THEY CUT MY HAIR! And I WASN'T HAPPY! I do look rather cute - they didn't shear me so I still have lots a fur, but they did take my mutton chops off my face and now I look like a REAL cocker...my mom thinks I'm cute:)Maybe I'll get used to Brenda and Sharon. They're really nice. I'm so grown up now - I guess I'll be expected to behave, too. Oh Darn! Talk to you again soon. Love, susieQ
A Happy Ending for Angel
Thank you, everyone, for the out pouring of kindness, well wishes, information, contacts and prayers. Angel has found a home with two vets who will help her condition and keep her in their home. I couldn't have done this alone and your efforts have been outstanding and have re-affirmed my belief that Guardian Angels exist, prayers are answered and generosity and love is alive and well in the USA. God Bless all of you.
Sincerely,
Jane Hunter
Angel sends her love and hopes you'll pass on her message of "Thank You" to all who rallied to her cause.

Plea for Help.......
Hello Friends and Family:I am writing with the hopes that a miracle will happen. I am helping to take care of a special needs puppy. She is a beautiful yellow female 7 weeks old that was originally diagnosed with a bladder infection. The vet now believes she has an eptopic ureter, which in plain language means she is incontinent of urine and requires surgery. This anatomical problem can be fixed and she will lead a normal life. However, the estimated cost is $3000.
I know in these difficult times, spending money on a puppy is probably the last that any of us have on our minds, but I am making an effort to find her a home with someone who could help her.
The puppy, whom I've named Angel, is in my home in Pennsylvania. I will hold onto her if anyone can offer her some hope. This is not a letter asking for money. Please do not send money. I am contacting everyone I know to try and find a solution for her.
She is returning to South Carolina on Thursday, Jan. 8th 2009 to her breeder's home where she will be put to sleep. I've included pictures of her. Please feel free to contact me at 570-584-6534(h) or 570-971-5816 (c) or Scott at 570-335-5647 (c).
Thank you, Jane Hunter

Kolbee has a new toy!
Who needs to spend big bucks in PetCo or PetSmart when Mother Nature provides the best!!! I've found just what I love to call a treasure and it was in my own back yard....a twig! Aren't I a clever boy?
Kolbee
PS.......did you all notice I'm getting a new sister? We're working on her new name. She's chocolate just like me, but doesn't have my manly tan points! I'm going to protect her and teach her to be a good girl just like I am a very good boy.

New Year Babies!
Yes, Daisy and Weylin presented us with their new litter of puppies on New Year's Day. We have seven beautiful puppies.....four boys and three girls. All are doing great. Individual photos will be posted on the web site later today when I've had a chance to catch up with a nice shower, little nap and breakfast. Philip is on puppy watch to be sure all are warm and fed. Daisy is sleeping peacefully.
The wait list is being contacted and available puppies will be posted after they have made their choices. Hope you all have a wonderful New Year, too.
