Happy 2nd Birthday, Buffer!!!!

Once the ice cream is gone, I carry my dish around just in case......
See my new birthday toy!

Hi Mary, As you can see I am still not very good at this picture stuff. This is Buffer with his new birthday toy.He had a big day.Went for a ride to Tractor Supply and got a new mattress for his bed, then on to Wal-Mart. Then we came home and Buffer had a bath.Tell Papa Weylin and momma Ruby hello. Tell them I am a good boy most of the time. I love my Papa and Baba. I am in their laps whenever they sit down.
Love Buffer,Bonnie and Dean

Happy Birthday Buffer!!!

Hi Bonnie,
Can't believe it's been two years already. Buffer has grown into a beautiful man just like his father. He looks so happy and content. Sounds like he had a good day, too.
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Granpop Basil found a rotten deer bone...

oh oh.......caught with a rotten deer bone...
....look over there....

.......grabbing the bone while she's not looking.....

......running with the bone to hide it from Philip.
And that's exactly what Basil did......ran with the bone and hid it. Philip tried to find it to bury it, but it was gone. Poachers were terrible this year and always left lots behind for Basil to find and drag home. Philip's always cleaning up after others like every year before.

Sun's out....pups on deck!

I was out front taking photos of the Hellebore's in bloom and heard puppies calling. Here's what I saw. Aren't they adorable! They've had a complete day of fun playing like wild Indians. I know they will sleep soundly tonight.

Ruby's only litter turns two..Happy Birthday!

Satin is on her way home......

I love my new Mommy, Marie!

What the heck was that?

Well, I hope you don't think I'm a grump because I'm looking so seriously at what's going on. I was doing great, kissing my mommy and being a good girl. Then all these things, I'm told are cars, kept coming at us and kicking up dust. I don't think that's very neighborly. I'm on my way home now and anxious to meet my new brothers and sisters. You know this is the home where Shooter/Pansy's boy Major lives. We're going to be great friends.
I'll send photos and stories.
Love you all!
Satin

Satin's ready and waiting for Momma Marie.....

.........and then there will be seven left in Dove's litter looking for their very own home and family to love. Stay tuned for the photos of their first meeting. Isn't Satin lovely in her Easter bonnet!

Here's Carlee!!!

Thanks to Nanny Janice for asking for pics of Gabby's sister, Carlee. Carlee and her wheels do pretty well coming down a step on the deck to get her toy sheep. Come on, Mom! I need one more ramp to get up the step!

Thanks to everyone who cares about special needs cockers and kids.

Mary, if you know of anyone who has a special needs cocker or other pet, please don't hesitate to put them in touch with me. It is such a difficult decision, process and learning situation, I would be happy to help. I found that I ended up knowing more about how to live with it than the vets.

Stay warm!
Anne

Thank you Anne. I will certainly refer any questions to you expert attention. Carlee wouldn't be here today if it weren't for your love, care and serious attention to researching all possible ways to solve this problem One day soon, we pray that Carlee can throw away her wheels and run like the wind. What a beautiful girl.

Bailey with her new Mommy & Daddy....

Can't you feel the love!! Bailey is a very lucky little girl. And the kids are on the way home from school to meet her, too. Let the fun begin!

How do you explain to puppies that Winter's returned?

Opps....above says Big Flake, but he's really or boy Skates.

The water bowl is frozen solid, the temp is 18 degrees and the entire outside is covered in snow. Yet the puppies are howling to go out to run and play. Even with a quick out to potty, they refused to come in and were herded to the door and carried back to their ex pens. Now the wind is blowing strong and the snow if falling off the trees. Sun's out, but still freezing. We'll have some inside activities to make everyone happy. Any ideas? Satin leaves tomorrow for her new home. The rest are waiting for their families to find them. All have their fur bags packed and are waiting.........

Oh No, Not Again!

Bailey's final morning at SBG......

Daddy Weylin is giving me good advise to take to my new home and a big
kiss to remember him. (sob)

Mommy Dove straightens out my collar and made sure I had clean ears. I sure
will miss her kindness and lessons of love.

Now we share a final nibble of grown up kibble while Daddy watches on.
Nanny Janice came for me and Uncle Lloyd was behind the wheel ready to
deliver me to my new home. Stay tuned for the rest of my story.
Love you all.

Brinkley (Charlie's brother) sends his latest....

Gma Mary,Here are some recent pictures of me and my big brother Jasper, we sure are enjoying this nice weather! Momma says there is snow in the forecast but I hope not I just love to run and especially chase them there birds out of the yard, I am doing very good. My chewing has slowed and momma and daddy keep saying soon I won't have to be in my crate when they go away but I don't seem to mind it because I always get a treat every time I go in it and I don't complain at all. I am always being told I am a good boy, occasionally I am bad but usually it's just for a minute. Hope you all are enjoying the warmer weather. Lol Brinkley

Bailey has her bag packed.....

Remember our Snow Angel from Dove's litter? Here she is with her Easter bonnet on, bags packed and ready for her ride tomorrow to Owings Mills, MD. There she will find her loving family awaiting her arrival. Stay tuned for the rest of the story. Nanny Janice will be serving this princess's needs on the way there. Tonight we party.
