Violet & Sidney update....

HI SBG Crew - Here's the newest photo of Violet and of course with her best buddy Sidney. Violet is doing very well and we couldn't ask for a sweeter dog. When I take her anywhere, everyone comments that she is the prettiest cocker spaniel they have ever seen! Sidney, Molly, & Rocky just love her to death. Violet definately holds her own when playing. She is one tough cookie!! Gary and I are very sorry that we couldn't make the picnic. My sister couldn't watch my father-in-law as her daughter was graduating from high school. Gary and I will definately try to make next year's picture. It looked like we missed a great time! Chris

Violet is a Pansy/Weylin daughter (merle), Sidney is a CC/Charlie son (red & white)

Jack & Max with their roses.....

It was Max's first birthday party......he's the boy on the right.

Hope his day was fun! Looking good, guys!

Hope your Father's Day was a good one!

Sunny hopes you spent it like she did.......zonked for a nice long nap!
We took a nice strole in the gardens to capture Jack & Max's rose bush and the
newly opened Canterbury Bells (campanula sp?) and foxgloves winding down.

This is the color of the clematis vine and is the color we believed it to be.

However, in previous posts we showed it was white. Just yesterday, it showed

this color, too! Gotta love nature......birds plant for us now. We have flowers all

over we didn't plant. Now if cocker "donations" were as productive!!! LOL.

Thanks.............

( Click the link below to read all about it! Here's Maggie's last boy, Sparky being protected by his big brother, Matty!)

.......for all the hugs and good wishes you all sent home to us. Nanny Janice delivered them all with glowing reports that all the kids payed together without out incident.
All the photos and comments and stories of love and good fun......brought loving tears to our eyes.
God Bless you all. With his blessings, Philip and I will be there next year. Hugs and prayers for you're good health and a fun cocker filled life.....until we meet again...

Here's Ernst's Capt Sparks.......Sparky!!!

OK, men. get lined up for muster.
Yep, getting there....Pansy, back up!

Guess this is our best. Kevin

OK....that's a wrap! Now let me down. Jasper's already left

and I need to play some more. "Sparky"

What a joyous fun filled visit. Sparky loves his new brothers and covered Kevin

in kisses. They all took a walk in the gardens with Sparky keeping up and impressing

everyone with his abilities to join right in. This is match made in heaven for sure.

Can't wait to see everyone's reaction at the picnic. And...will Bogie and Sparky

remember their first six weeks together? Stay tuned for the rest of this story.

Here's our Tilly...a Sunny/Weylin gal.....

Do you think I could use a few more toys? No I'm not spoiled. My family

just loves me soooo much. I'm a lucky, lucky girl.

Tilly

ps.......I asked for Sparkie to be my brother, too. Was just too late. Got

to get up early to beat that fire crew. They are running ready!

Casey.....a new friend.

HI! I'm Casey....a sweet little girl who wanted Greenie to be my brother. But Sparky

was predetermined to become the final member of the Firedog Crew. Tom Spring is my daddy. He and mommy have followed the SBG mob's web site and blog for a long time. We

also enjoy following Abby, Mr. H and of course, those amazing Firedogs!

We love cockers here!

Greenie is 11 weeks!

Sunday's walk in the garden....what's new.

Kiwi bush....
.....kiwi's are smaller than what you find in the stores. They taste like a
sweet grape. Yummy.

Foxgloves are blooming everywhere. They broadcase their seeds (size of pepper)

everywhere. They are the easiest flowers we've ever enjoyed, and oh so

beautiful.

Hybred azalias are in the background and the rhodies are coming

to and end. Sad to see them go.

Hybred peony's are very spectatular this year and in a variety of

colors. I wasn't able to capture the others. That's Cherry on the

trail in the background.
