Sunny's litter is now posted on the web site......

Sunny is resting and enjoying her new litter. She is constantly bathing them and rounding them up and back against her body. They are so happy to be out of that confinement.....they are scooting everywhere. All appear to be very healthy and in constant search for their next meal. We are so proud of Sunny and Shooter. At this time, all are available. Wait lists have been notified, but no puppies are being held at this time. Am looking forward to a good night's sleep next to the whelping box as always. Mary

Sunny/Shooter kids are here........

After a long long night, Sunny has presented us with her first litter and Shooter's last as he has now joined the ranks of precious & respected pets who has been "tootered"! We have two black & tan boys (Garfield returns? LOL), one chocolate & tan boy, one red boy and three beautiful chocolate & tan girls. All are fat and sassy and moving like troupers from dinner bucket to dinner bucket, assured that what the other has is the best in the house. We're working on the Newborn photo shoot and hope to have it posted by early afternoon......fingers crossed that the computer continues to function. No signs of the new hard drive. Back to work. This little flock sounds like seagulls at the shore. Oh, that's cottage cheese on Sunny's mouth! She just gulped down a huge bowl, a peanut butter pancake and buffalo/venison kibble. Now she wants her Newborn celebration steak. That'll wait for lunch. I need a shower and a cup of coffee. M

Bailey's home in Maryland......

Here's I am with my best bud, Bella. We romp and play tug with all the toys. Everyone laughed at me when Bella ran away with the lobster and I hung onto her tail while she pulled me all around the yard!! That was a funny site, I'm sure. Momma Cathy says I'm the best girl. I potty outside and sleep all night. I like to have my dinners with the other three girls, too. I love it here and share all my new toys with my sisters. I'll send more pictures soon. xxoo Bailey

Sidney at home.......

Hi.....I'm home. Molly and Rocky think I'm their baby. They watch over me and take very good care of me. If I nap, they nap. We share toys, too. Molly lets me hang from her ears like earrings! I love it here. xxoo Sidney

Coco..and Solo enjoying Memorial Day Weekend

Lacey Rose at home.........

Wow, what a long trip that was....but well worth the ride. I'm living with the most wonderful family and home. Here I am finally home enjoying the couch! I'm the lucky girl! Lacey Rose, the latest Georgia Peach

Wonder who Janice is, who has the Brooks Boys?

This is our Janice with Lacey Rose and Diane. Janice is my dear friend who moves in here to watch over the mob when ever we have to be away. Janice and her hubby Lloyd are the team who will deliver puppies with love and special attentions and place them into loving arms. Now what airline does that? Thank you, Janice and Lloyd. You are the best!

Lacey Rose and her Mitch & Diane

Well, let me tell you.....after Bailey left with her new Mommy, I was put back in the crate alone......what's up with that? I howled for a few minutes and sweet Aunt Janice rescued me and let me ride up front in the car with her. I curled myself around her neck and slept like a good girl. When I awoke, there were Mommy Diane and Daddy Mitch......wow what wonderful and loving people. I ran between them, showed off what I could do and give everyone kisses. I have arrived home and find my three new sisters don't like me. That's okay, I'll win them over yet. Mommy Diane is spoiling me rotten and I think I'm going to be a Daddy's girl. Stay tuned. I promise to send storied and pictures of us all. In the meantime, I'm learning all about being a Southern Belle. Hugs to everyone back home. Lacey Rose

Bailey meets her Cathy........

........awwwwww, look at my new Mommy! I really love her and was just the best little girl as we drove on home. When we got there, I was given to my new Daddy Bill while Mommy greeted Sophie, Phoebe and Bella so they wouldn't think they've been replaced. That was such a kind thing for Mommy to do. But.....tee hee.......when she handed me to Daddy Bill, my heart melted and it was love at first sight and he felt it too. I think we will be the best friends ever. Then Phoebe who has had puppies, gave me a bath! I guess I must have smelled like too much grooming product or the mob from home. Bella stole my toys and hid them under her bed mattress, but I got them back! Bella did offer to share some of her toys, too. I must be careful around Sophie as she is recovering from some bad heath issue I don't understand, but I'm sure kisses will help heal her. I'm such a lucky little lady. I will remember my manners and promise to send stories and photos. Kisses from all of us! your sweet Bailey

Bailey & Lacey Rose traveling south

........well, we're on our way! We left at 5am to begin our travels South.....Bailey to Glen Bernie, Maryland and Lacey Rose to Roanoke, VA on her way to Canton, GA.

OH BOY.......what is this green stuff under our feet? It's slick, smells good and tickles. Aunt Janice tells us it's grass. Just one of the many new things we'll learn about on our adventure. Bailey & Lacey Rose

Chelsea's new family........

And now it was my turn to meet my family. Wow, look how handsome Daddy Frank and Frankie are and Momma Dona is so beautiful I thought she was Frankie's sister. They loved me.......and thought I was the cutest little cocker they've ever seen. Of course I couldn't show off very much because I had spent so much time with Sidney and my sisters showing off for his family...I just wanted to sleep. So we left for our long drive back to East Islip on Long Island. I'm sure we'll be sending back lots of stories and photos for all to see. I'm a very lucky little girl. Love you, miss you, don't forget me......Chelsea

Sidney's family........

Boy oh boy did I ever love meeting my new family. I came out of the puppy yard and straight to Daddy Gary's shoe laces and untied them. See, he needed me! Then I paraded all around, played with my sisters and gave Mommy Chris some special attention (really showing off as boys tend to do) and was ready to say goodbye. There were tears all around...I'm hoping they were for joy and not sadness. I promise to be good and will send stories and photos so everyone can enjoy my new life with me. Hugs and kisses to all. Sidney

Abby's family.......

Here's my new Mommy Cathy and Daddy Joseph. When I saw Cathy, I wrapped my legs around her neck and just hung on giving her kisses and hugs. I love them and am so happy with my new life. XXOO's to every one! Abby

Look at Chester....

Chester has learned his lessons, is a good citizen and loves to play with his new brothers. He runs and plays with the children next door, too and they all love him. They throw his ball and toys and he brings them back and lets the children take them out of his mouth. This Ruby/Weylin boy is everything he promised to be and more. His new family has the patience and love to train him right. He is almost completely recovered from the trauma of the past. Now the only trouble he and Buster get into is......removing newly planted flowers and also sleeping in the freshly replanted gardens. Well, after all, little boys will be boys.

We have puppies..........

Gigi & Weylin new litter has arrived. We have three black & tan boys, two chocolate & tan boys, two chocolate & tan girls. All are healthy and beautiful. Gigi is resting and so am I. It was a long hard 24 hours. Individual photos and names will be posted on the web site tomorrow. Wait list will also be contacted tomorrow. We're just too tired to do justice to the photo shoot tonight. I've tried and tried to publish pictures of the litter here, but they won't go through. If you want to see them, group pictures are posted on the Nursery page of the web site.

Gigi's labor has begun.....

.........Newborn pictures will be posted tomorrow (Tuesday) after all the puppies are here, dry, warm and fed. All is well so far. It's going to be a long night.......

Emme's been groomed......

Oh boy......didn't I look like a wookie before my grooming! I loved the guy who groomed me. We played and I gave him all the kisses he could take. I love my before and after photos. Mommy says I couldn't be more beautiful. Then when Katie came over to visit, she got in my puppy bed...again!! Can you please tell her to stay out. There's no room for me! Good news here. Mommy got a new digital camera so you will be getting more photos of me. Lots of Love...Emme

CC's Kids are 7 weeks old...

Yes, we are seven weeks old. This time next week we will be playing with our new families, learning new rules and giving out all our kisses. But for today, we're waiting for the sun to come over the mountain to warm our play yard so we can continue with all our games. Grammy Mary says we can start playing with the big dogs now, too so we aren't afraid of them in our new homes. That's fine with us cause they are on the other side of the fence poking their noses in and we like to lick them. Hope the camera is ready to record our reactions.

Computer update........

........new hard drive has been ordered! Yippie......all files and photos have been saved and backed up. My computer man, Howard is a wizzard. Am using the old one, can't shut it off, and will be able to continue with emails and publishing photos of CC's 7 week old puppies. Will also be able to post Gigi's new litter when it arrives next week. Big relief!

In the meantime, here's a picture of granddaughter Sarah and her friend Jamal at the Prom. And grandson Sam running a relay. Check the web site later this afternoon for the new pictures of Abby, Bailey, Chelsea, Lacey Rose and Sidney. They are so darn cute!!

No virus....

......"C" drive collapsed from power failures. We did have bad wind storms that caused trees to fall on power lines, poles caught on fire and was a mess in our county. It took a few weeks for the drive to collapse. Now I'm in danger that all my files, programs and photos are lost. Will find out this afternoon. So updates and current photos of CC's puppies and Gigi's coming litter could be very late in being posted. Sorry. People on the wait list will be notified when Gigi's puppies arrive. I can do that from my friend's computer. Will figure out how to get pictures, too. Fingers crossed!!! Mary

Crashed again!!!

Looks like a virus was attached to an email. This morning I cannot turn on my Windows. 911 call is out to my amazing Navy trained computer repairman. I'm hoping to get it back and running fast as we have three new litters due in the next four weeks and photo shoots to post on the web site of CC's kids who are going on seven weeks. Always something in this electronic life we live.

All is well in the cocker world. Gigi is huge and looking like she'll have about 7 or 8 puppies. Ruby continues to get expensive drops in her eye and is seeing better. Dove and Sunny are both developing nice puppy filled bellies. I'm posting notices here and answering emails at Janice's house. What a great friend.

More later................light a candle to the computer Gods and bring in the Air Force to bomb away those awful viruses . Mary

Bonny Wee Lass says "Hi"

Spring has come to Michigan. See my new squeek ball! Anyone up for a game? Bonny

Thank You..........

We are amazed and so grateful for all of you who emailed or sent cards with expressions of love and support for me and my family during this sad time of loss. The memorial for my sister was heartbreaking and heartwarming for all of us. This lady who was taken much too early in her life, was all about love of family and her precious pets. I can see her laughing with all of our furkids who ran to greet her, tails awaggin and kisses flying....

Is it time to play?

I'm in jail waiting for the sun to come over the mountain and shine down on our puppy yard. We were good little puppies and kept our inside xpen clean all night. We ran out this morning and made Mom proud, but it was way too cold to stay. I've been told it's warmer in Maryland and I can play outside more often with my new sisters: Bella, Sophie and Phoebe (who can only watch us play). BAILEY

More from Snicker's visit with Mickey & Cocoa

Our brother Snickers came back to visit and boy did we have fun. We ran and played and did a little exploring. It's nice having a relative close by! Anyway, Snickers came and shared our bed and toys and we even got to give him a kiss, (or was it that he had our chewie and we wanted it back.) Snickers even tried to help Mommy with the dishes.

NOTE FROM COCOA AND MICKEY

IT IS A HARD LIFE BEING A COCKER SPANIEL PUPPY. ONCE WE EAT, WE ARE TIRED AND IT'S TIME TO LAY DOWN. WE KNOW WE CAN'T LAY DOWN ON THE JOB FOR LONG, WE HAVE TO GET OUTSIDE AND BE WATCH PUPPYS. WE SEE A LOT SITTING HERE, ROBINS, SQUIRRELS, RABBITS AND ONE TIME COCOA STEPPED RIGHT ON THE BACK OF A BLACK SNAKE. SO WE ALWAYS HAVE TO SIT AND WATCH AND LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON. AFTER THAT IT WAS TIME TO POSE FOR PICTURES, OF COURE, IT DOES NOT ALWAYS GO RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AND WE HAVE TO DO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. BUT WE ARE GETTING BIGGER, WE CAN GO UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS ALL BY OURSELVES. SOMETHING DADDY TAUGHT US AND MOMMY WAS NOT TOO KEEN ON US LEARNING THAT SO FAST! ALSO, WE DON'T NEED ANYONE PICKING US UP TO PUT US IN THE CHAIR NOW. WE CAN JUMP UP THERE ALL BY OURSELVES. SINCE WE LIVE IN A DOGGIE HOME, NO ONE CARES IF WE ARE ON THE FURNITURE. IN FACT, THEY LOVE IT WHEN WE JUMP UP AND LAY DOWN BESIDE THEM. ONE MORE THING, WE NOW SLEEP ALL NIGHT LONG AND DON'T WAKE UP UNTIL AROUND 5 AM. I THINK WE ARE JUST SO TIRED FROM ALWAYS HAVING TO WORK ON BEING WATCH PUPPYS. SO FAR, WE LIKE IT HERE AND THINK WE WILL BE STAYING FOR A LONG TIME, SO MOMMY MARY, DON'T WAIT UP!

ps...There Mommy Deb writes that the kids enjoyed decorating the bathroom with a complete roll of toilet paper while she was in the shower. Now wasn't that nice of them! When Debbie put it in the waste paper basket, they were thrilled as they could get it out and do it all again. Cockers are the most entertaining kids! Mary

Teddy Bear's meeting with Mickey & Cocoa

HI EVERYONE, AS PROMISED HERE I AM WITH MY BROTHER MICKEY AND SISTER COOOA. I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT TO MEET THEM, THEY WERE SO MUCH BIGGER THAN I REMEMBERED THEM. BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES, WE RAN AND PLAYED AND HAD A BLAST. SNICKERS
