Emme says "hi"

HI MUM MUM & POP POP!! Well it has been exactly 1 year ago today that you packed my little travel bag and let me go to Millville to find my forever home. I could not have asked for a better mommy & big sister. Ellie and I get along like we have been together forever, She lets me play with all the toys (except the ball she had since she was a pup), and I can even snuggle up for naps with her. And mommy is so glad, she finally got the lap dog she always wanted. I don't mind helping her with that!! LOL.. Did you notice my one picture, I have an angel over my shoulder. I am truly blessed.

Carlee/Gabby Winter Olympics

Hello Mary!
Here are the Carlee/Gabby Winter Olympics. Both did well on the slalom, with Carlee beating Gabby on the first round, and Gabby scooting by Carlee on the second. Kudos to Mom for preparing the track! First time I've been able to have Gabby off a leash since she can't climb over the snow banks.

Dad's plowing......we're watching/napping

There was a nice bubbling hot pot of chili waiting for Philip to enjoy.
Two hours later and after a nice nap, he's out plowing again. His little
Cub Cadet can not get behind or we have to call in the big plow boys.

NO SCHOOL TODAY

Gma, I finally got my big Snowstorm. 20+ inches of snow in 24 hrs. Mom and Dad did not have to go to work either, yippee!
Love to all

He's back in the saddle again........

Yes, this photo was taken two winters ago, but the scene's the same and the job's being done. A pot of hot soup awaits his return and a mob of cockers warmed by the fire while he works. They have their jobs, too.

We have a new bed!

After breakfast we returned to our clean box to find Gma Mary had put in a new round, soft bed with a comfy fleece blanket. We ran right into it and we were asleep in seconds. Wonder how long all of us will fit in this bed. Nine's okay on the baseball field.........

Harrisburg PA area snow's still there!

A good friend sent this photo of her back yard "potty area". She says her cockers are not happy with this small area for their outside fun and duty. All are hoping spring comes fast. When it does, get out your boats. This could be yet another disaster in the making.

Dove's kids are bathed, clipped & sporting new collars.

Remember how small our Snow Angel was compared to her litter mates? Watch how she (purple collar) travels in these photos from the top to the middle and down to where she wanted to take her nap. They all ended up in one big beautiful pile. This litter shines like the full moon. They are walking around the box like pros who are eager to get on with their lives. Shown here is only 1/3 of their box. Soon they'll need a bigger one!

Abby had visitors today.......

Look how excited Abby is that Momma Angie and Daddy Doug came to visit her. Actually, she's exhausted. She ran around, hopped like a bunny, gave kisses and generally showed off! What a nice couple. Abby lucked out when this loving family found her. We hoped they didn't like her so we could keep her, but that was never going to happen. Guess we'll have to enjoy the next three weeks before she leaves us. Fortunately, they have a cabin in Potter Co just an hour from us. We'll see this little angel again and again.

St Francis, Grotto of Lourdes....MD

On this dreary morning with the promise of more snow, I thought I'd share a photo taken yesterday by a friend who stopped by the grotto on her way back from delivering a puppy. It's a peaceful place just off Rt 15 and the site of the very first Catholic school in the USA. Spring brings a beautiful flower display and an unbelievable sense of calm. It's well worth your time to stop by for a visit.

Snow Angel is gaining........

All danger has passed and this strong and healthy (if not a little smaller than the rest) girl has grown nicely and is 1.75 pounds. She can push her way to the dinner bucket with the best of her big hog brothers. Her eyes are open, she is walking around the box (not even 3 weeks yet) and enjoys her supplementalfeedings of Gerber's Rice Cereal with strained baby meats. She sucks it right out of the feeder with gusto! Our new Olympic feeding Gold Metal Winner!

Bumble Bee's Valentine Day wish...

Yes, this beautiful and precious boy is still looking for his very own home. He has found love in many hearts, but still the one assigned by the cocker angels on the day he came to us has not stepped forward to claim him. In the meantime, he is having a ball here playing with Charlie and all the Mommies that want to mother him! Yes, those are green tints to his brown eyes! You can thank his chocolate grandfather for adding this colorful touch to a red eared boy!

Coco's Valentine greeting......

Hi Mary!

I know it is a bit late but Mom has been busy wallpapering our kitchen today but I wanted to send you chocolate hugs and kisses from me! Mom took a picture of me with all of our toys we got for Valentine's Day! Pretty cool huh? The pink heart was mine...of course!

Happy Valentine's Day!
