Sad news....Lloyd Alton of Ging's Kennels, has passed over the Rainbow Bridge.

We are saddened to learn one of the greats in the cocker world passed this morning. Lloyd Alton, with his best friend Bill Gorodner, coauthered The World of the Cocker Spaniel and was known for his love of the breed as well as his handling and announcing talents in the AKC show arenas. We were privileged to meet with Lloyd at his home in Leesburg, VA on several occassions. His knowledge, wit and good nature will be sorely missed. Rest well, dear friend, your legacy lives on in your good deeds and breedings.

CC's Babies are 2 days old!

Peeps and Robin are waiting.......

Everyone is healthy, happy and growing. CC is an amazing mother, loves her puppies, never wants to leave them alone and is proud, wanting us to sit with her and tell her how special they all are! Can't blame her one bit.

First look at CC & Charlie's new litter.......

We have three red & white females, one black & white female and one red & white male. All are beautiful, healthy and perfect. CC is doing great and what a Mommy she is. Individual photos and availability will be posted to the web site soon.

PS.......something happened to this blog program. I can no longer control size and color of the print and sometimes the photos won't insert. Google did an "improvement" on Friday and Murphy's Law ensued.

Emme "phones home"

Hi Mum Mum!!! I just wanted to see if you remember what I looked like. I am in the picture with all the toys, can you find me? My face has not changed one bit, but Sissy (Denise) says I am a beauty...whatever that means. Mom says I am so smart. She puts me outside on the walkway in front of the house and I find my way around the house and up the steps to get in...what's the big deal??? Then I went to the mall and this big thing they called the Easter Bunny made me sit on her lap. I could care less because I smooched them all. Mom & Sissy send love, too. Emme

Are Apron's in Style again?

News flash.........Aprons are coming back. Here we have two lovely ladies showing off their new fashion in the kitchen. Miss Carolyn is modeling the Jr Miss size and Patty, her mother, is showing off the Mommy size. All that is missing from this happy pictures is a cocker puppy licking the dishes clean. Hey, brother Ed......what's up with that? Grand daughters need a sweet puppy.

Today I dream of my forever family. Everyone needs a friend and I have discovered there are many right here in our woods. With Spring now here, our wildlife is nesting and making a new ife for themselves. Mrs. Squirrel is telling me the secrets of being a good family member. I'm a fast learner.

I'm headed home.........

This is the best day of my life. Today I met my Mommy and Daddy and am on my way home. Bill and Christine from Saugerties, NY saw me and knew I was what they needed after their precious boy Oliver passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I promise to be a good boy for them, protect them and love them with all my heart. I am indeed a very lucky boy.

Pansy's Pups are one week old....

Haven't they grown! The colors are coming out nicely....all pups have strong tan points showing. Momma Pansy has recovered and is providing warm, delicious and loving care. What a sweetie. Our little Jack, the chocolate & tan boy above, is still looking for his loving home.

A puppy's work is never done........

We were told a puppy's life was fun and games. And that's all good. But we wanted to contribute to our keep by doing chores around the house. So, we are now the official rock and dishwasher inspectors. Aren't we the greatest and we're only ten weeks old!

Cocoa & Mickey reporting in...

Here we are in our new home. We've had a marvelous fun filled week with Daddy. He's played with us in the yard and let us nap with a friend on the warm driveway. We think we're in Heaven! And then Momma came home from work and we knew it was true. Cocoa & Mickey

Pansy & Shooter's puppies arrived!

"Apple" is a black & tan Merle female, Jack in the Box is a chocolate & tan Merle male and Guiding Star (JR because I'm just like my Pop) is a solid black & tan boy. They are all healthy and beautiful little puppies named after quilt blocks because of their coats of many colors. Pansy is doing fine. Shooter, the papa is busting his buttons, or would if he had any!

Today is Miss Magnolia's first birthday!

Happy Birthday, Maggie!
