Updates on Mom: Her spirits are high and she continues to say thank you to all who inquire after her and Philip. Today she is being evaluated by physical therapy and occupational therapy to see what kind of exercises and conditioning we can do to get her strength back. The mind is willing, but the body is stubborn and needs kicked into gear.
Two good announcements: The tumor has shrunk and the cancer marker is down! Secondly, Weylin is going to stay in his current home. Thank you to all who inquired after him.
We're buried under another 10" of heavy, wet snow and everything is closed down. Mom's house is under another 24". Will this ever end? Come one hot sun and drier weather.

Update on Mom's condition: Mom had surgery to remove her gallbladder. It had become so infected that it ruptured and caused her a world of grief. Thank Goodness for the doctors that took her under their wings and removed it. She's doing quite well and feels much better after three days of antibiotics and plenty of fluids IV.
Mom continues to receive cards in the snail mail and well wishes via my email : Lilyun@aol.com. She still is not well enough to visit the computer and answer all letters individually. She says I am to send everyone hugs and kisses and a great big Thank You!
Also, Weylin is looking for a home if anyone knows who would welcome an active, happy neutered boy into their life. He has a high play drive and will require lots of attention and/or walks on a leash. See mom's site to see photos and details.
Thank you everyone

A letter from Jane, Mary's daughter

Hello Friends: I'm posting a note for my mother. The chemotherapy is really taking a toll on mom's energy and muddling her ability to concentrate on conversations on the phone, on the computer, or in person. She says she feels all the well wishes, prayers, and good thoughts coming her way.

The best way to correspond with mom is by snail mail. Good old fashioned letters or cards. Please no more forwards or silly stuff via the internet. It took me an hour to clean out her box so I could find the important information that her doctor sends.

She tells me all the time that she is blessed to have such a caring and considerate group of friends. God has truly blessed us and is wrapping her in white light and love. Thank you all for the wonderful messages.
Sincerely,
Jane

Tucker.......clone of his Pop Weylin

Now can you get more handsome than this boy? No wonder Cathy calls him a piece of her
heart, never to leave.

Thanks to all who send Birthday wishes, cards, gifts and emails.

CC - left.............Miss Magnolia - right.
This is how I spend my nap and night times. I have two guards that sleep with me and
keep everyone else away. CC is the smallest, but boy can she ever scare the britches off
anyone who wants up. Maggy needs to be with me so I can rub her belly......a must for her
survival! Thanks for all you are sending. Am way too exhausted to spend very long on the computer answering. But you are all in my heart and I appreciate every word.
Treatments are going along well. Monday is another IV chemo, plus two doctor's check up. Radiation is due to show what it has done now, so we're eager to see those results.
Stay tuned. Will try to post anything new as soon as I have the energy.
Love you all,
M

Weylin's says good bye.....

My last breakfast with the mob....eggs, bacon and a heart shaped waffle.....yummy.
The Lanes......my new family.

This is my daughter Summer. Isn't she a beauty?

Here's my Daddy boy Ray. We plan to have years of fun. I ran right to him immediately
before I greeted anyone else. Nanny Janice and Gma Mary had a hard time letting me go.
Lots of tears..........It's okay. I'll come back to visit one day and send many great pictures and
stories. Love you all.
Weylin

Sammy & Jed have new groomings..........

Aren't we the sweetest!!!
