Here's some colorful flowers from our previous gardens. They are sleeping peacefully under their blanket of snow waiting for the warm breezes of spring to awaken them and their promise to us. We had six deer walk into our orchard yesterday noon looking for food and found two big piles of shelled corn Philip had waiting for them. We usually feed an average of 500# of corn every year. With the greatly reduced herds, the three dozen deer we used to see are just not here anymore. All six were doe, so once again we are feeding the babies to come.
