and the rest is history. My new name is "Matty Dale" a term/name for the connection on the fire hose to the truck. Now isn't that clever. I love it and my new family. Daddy Kevin is the Fire Chief in Port Alleghany, PA

All the cockers have something to say. They will share their thoughts and activities and request that you in turn tell them of yours. Isn't this a wonderful way of keeping in touch!! We love to post stories and current photos of our puppies in their new homes. "Hi" to all our men and women serving our country here and afar. We love hearing from you and would gladly post your pictures and stories, too. God Bless you all. www.sbgcockersandquilts.com ; sbgcockerkids@aol.com

Penelope with Janell soon after arriving home last summer.
Penelop is looking like her Momma Pansy now that she's a year old.
Christmas found Penelope in her best dress to play with her friend.
And now our story begins. I'm Brinkley, Sunny & Shooter's black & tan boy. This is my new brother Jasper. I've come back home to visit with Mom, Sunny and Daddy Weylin and my true brother Charlie. We found many nice benches on our walk in the woods and thought this
We arrived to find Dove's seven cream boys and Daisy's red boy Reef on the upper
Round back, the ladies were waiting...Ruby, Daisy, Iris, Cherry, CC, Lily, Maggy, Dove,
My Momma Sunny was in a chair all by herself and howling a warm "hello, son!"
So we told the mob we wanted to go find Gpa Basil and go for a walk in the gardens, orchard and woods. Then we'd be back for a visit. Daddy Kevin had a bag of treats for everyone.
Gpa Basil showed us the best places to rest on our walk.
Now I'm meeting with Skates (green) and Snowball. Charlie was in Studville where he is recovering from his "duties" as studmuffin. He played with a fence between us. He will be groomed and have photos taken again so you can see he's a good looking boy like his brother,
Snowball, Reef and Skates played hard with me and I loved it!
These boys were off and running...... and wanted me to chase them.
Some of the ladies were just happy to watch all the youngsters play.
Drifter joined the group just to show how a laid back boy turns into a full time ragdoll/lapdog.
Daddy, Kevin loved all these sweet boys. They kissed and hugged him. Momma Marsha is taking the photos and didn't get in any of them. She loved Skates the best and was thinking hard about adding him to our family! Another firedog in the making? Always room for one more fire guy.
The sad Good-byes were given from those four who were left on the upper deck.
What a fun day. The weather was beautiful, the orchard has begun to show it's splender and the spring tulips and daffodils were at their best. Jasper and Brinkley walked with Grandpa Basil up the hill and into the woods. What great and well trained boys. They stayed close and came when called. Marsha and Kevin have taken great care of their boys and love them dearly.

Look who sent us pictures! Lola, Charlie's sister! We hadn't heard from her in months and wondered how she was doing. Here she is with beautiful Alyssa. From the looks of it, they are best of friends and Lola can't give her enough kisses. We are blessed with the best cocker families and friends. Momma Stacy tell us Lola is a good girl and is loved by everyone. She will start her therapy dog training sometime in the near future. We can't wait to see how that goes. Cockers are known for being the best therapy dogs ever. Thanks for the update and photos. Charlie sends hugs and kisses to both of these lovely girls.
Just back from dropping our Daisy off at the vet. Yesterday we groomed her, bathed her and sprayed "Spring Rain" freshener on her coat. She looked beautiful and was so proud as she pranced around showing off to the others. Now she's entered the best stage of her life. She is being spayed. After producing four beautiful litters, we decided that was more than enough. Now Daisy can enjoy the good life, watch over others babies or just play and nap as she will. She is in perfect health and will enjoy many many years of love and fun here with the family who cherishes and appreciates her.
